My dearest VJ family, I have waited for soooooo long for this day- my wife got her visa today! POE will be in Houston this weekend :dancing::dancing::dancing::dancing::dancing:

Massive thanks to all of you who have given so much support over the past few months. Much love to my fellow TSC hostages, and invaluable friends *ahem*Saylin*ahem*

This whole immigration process has been such a nasty ordeal, it feels good to see it finally come to a close :)

If there are any remaining TSC hostages out there, my heart goes out to you and I wish you a speedy reunion with your loved ones.

Much love,

Saleem

I felt the same way! As soon as someone posted here that they had their visa and were finally heading to the US or their spouse was finally coming to the US, I was like, yes! They're finally putting that ridiculous TSC fiasco behind them! Let's hope the ROC process is smoother than what happened months ago at Texas...

ROC = Removal of Conditions

Only those married less than 2 years before getting their visa have to do this. Those who have been married less than 2 years get a conditional green card that expires 2 years after POE. So, 90 days before it expires, those people have to file the I-751. So, in February 2013, I'll be filing the I-751 and I'm sure a lot of people here will be filing around that time as well.

Yep NYC is something!!!

But all I can see is "Work", I'm so willing to start working, for the moment I have to be focused on my little teeager's first steps in the USA, up there in NCY she will be almost like in Paris, so then I will be able to find a job.

If you ever come to NYC I will surely cook something for you and your family but it will surely be French or Portuguese cuisine tongue.gif
