Hi. i married to US citizen and Im applying for green card.

but i have a problem with filling out the from I-864 and I-864a.

My wife doesnt really have lots of income since she does parttime job. so my father-in-law is trying to be my sponcer but me and my wife live in his house all together. eventhough we don't use their money.

i heard my wife should fill out i-864 and my father in love should fill out i-864 also and my mother in law should fill out i-864a since my father in law and mother in law combine their income and do tax return together. is that correct?

anyone know?? :/

Yes.

Thank you so much for the answer. One more question.

ME and my mother in law are tying to fill out the form I-864 A . but they ask some questions for the sponsor.

but my mother in law is filling out i-864a as a house member of my father in law. in that case , who is the sponsor?

From what you are describing, your spouse is primary sponsor. Your father in law is co-sponsor. Your mother in law is household member of father-in law.

You need to read the instructions carefully. Good luck.
