Hey Pat, this is NOT normal. The NOA should be the first thing you receive back because this notice tells you that they got your papers and most importantly it is you One-Year GC Extension letter! So you MUST have it. I would call USCIS as soon as possible to advise them that you never got your NOA.

If you have an attorney, he might have gotten it.

If not, call and ask for one, it's important to renew documents(ie drivers license), travel abroad if needed, or paperwork in general.

Update:

Finaly reached a live person at the USCIS, (guess they have a new menu... I succeeded by pressing 1 for English, 1 for case status, 1 to hear about your status or to report a problem with your application... what was followed by typing in my case status and pressing 3 for reporting a problem... which connects you to a person reading from a script... grr) who told me to go to biometrics as scheduled and wait for my receipt notice cause their 30 days haven't passed yet.

Should I realy wait or be more persistent?

plus im out of status.. does that mean that they can arrest me there at USCIS office without NOA?

They wont arrest you at biometrics, you bring your biometrics notice + green card. You get your finger prints and photo done and you go home.

You need to get the NOA from USCIS though because it is what extends your green card by 1 year. You cannot travel or anything without it.

Your I-129f was approved in 5 days from your NOA1 date.

Your interview took 67 days from your I-129F NOA1 date.

AOS was approved in 2 months and 8 days without interview.

ROC was approved in 3 months and 2 days without interview.

I am a Citizen of the United States of America. 04/16/13

My green card application is now pending. I am still an illegal immigrat here in the US.

I am not applying for an extention of my GC.
