Micki, congrats! I'm so happy for you. Oh wow, that's so rushed! That's kind of how my hubby's situation was. More than him, I was overwhelmed with everything I had to do here! In o'hare my husband came out about 2 hours after landing and he said customs were very smooth...hopefully same for you. He came for air Jordanian and it was a direct flight from Jordan- arrived around 7 or 8 if memory serves me correctly. Safe travels and wish you all well.

Mine took 19 days when everyone else was taking a month so I guess it is ok

Just a heads up for spouses coming over here....DO NOT WAIT FOR SSN TO COME IN THE MAIL!!

I read a few stories of how they had to wait 1-2 months so.....

Well, I was worried about getting his SSN to file taxes! So even though I checked give him a SSN on the ds-230, We went to SS office 5 days after POE and applied again. GOOD THING cause they gave him 3 first names (the third one had 3 letters only "FAT" and no middle names!! OMG she corrected it for us and he got it already. So, 11 days after POE he has a social but no greencard.
