Oh yeah forgot to add that each week its says "We were not able to identify Case # --CROxxxxxxxxxx, Please make sure you have entered your Case Number correctly." and here is the answer without the CRO, "We were not able to identify Case # --xxxxxxxxxx, Please make sure you have entered your Case Number correctly.", when checking on the embassy website.

NOTHING AS ON TODAY!

:rofl::rofl::rofl:

Thanks. Its been a long day. One more thing to add, on the 18th we wrote to our Senator's office. Maybe I wrote this earlier, oh well, this is what my mind does all day, details stir like crazy. Here it goes, after sending a inquiry to the embassy by my senator's office then received a reponse last week. The embassy said that they would long into my case and reply back within a week with an answer.

Im thinking, could it be be that its just sitting there on someone's desk collecting dust. My hubby's opinion on their reply is that someone is finally going to worry about getting the case done since now they are getting pressure from the senator's office and they should have a conclusion within a week. Inshallah he is right, n they will put their gears at full force.

omg I hope so Wendy!! OMG I truly hope.

I have seen others get the visa within days of getting a positve response. So I am feelig very good about it

And yes, many files collect dust just waiting for someone to finish tracking the family tree and when the senator or someone else inquires it FORCES them to make a decision-either approve it as clean or approve it as having some derogatory info and make embassy do final decision.

Because if he had a real hit they could have just denied long ago

I am excited!!!!

What State do you live in?

I do not even know my politicians views on immigration. I tried to research them but they are so vague I cannot tell if they like immigrant spouses or not!!

I live in Florida. Didn't really research on their views. They have elective political positions, its their duty to see if they can help us, and not have their personal opinions inpact their decision on which cases they will help. I cant complain, the employee of my senator's office who is assigned to our case is very friendly. Actually she remembers me when I requested the senator's help when our NOA2 was taking too long.

I should try to look into this but how do you actually contact a senator? I think you guys are right about some cases just sitting there....the way the lawyer made it sound is if it takes a while you make an inquiry to shake them into working on it.

is it better to email the consul general or send him a lettere?? and also can i have my husband write it then i can print it out and mail it from morocco instead of mail it from usa to get there faster

I don't think your husband should write anything; The petitioner needs to do it; so just write few letters explaining your situation; also state in the letter specifically how long have you been in AP and the norm for Morocco. (so that way they can see it has been over the norm); it doesn't need to be long but just to the point. I faxed over notorized letter to the US embassador in Cairo and fax over the same letter to two congressmen from my state. After few days, I have recieved a call from the congresmen's office; (my letter was regarding the extreme long wait time in Cairo for getting an interview scheduled; the embassy had been behind on interview dates for over 4months or so; do to revolution last year-well the revolution is not my problem they should get more people to process it or work overtime like we do in the US:) so I just kind of said that in a nice pleading way). My husband finally got an interview after 5 or 6 months which was a normal (delayed wait time) but he did not need to go through an AP process; He had an interview 12/15 and visa was granted 12/20. I'm not sure if this was because of my requests but just writing the letters of plead for assistance made me feel much better. Try it, it doesn't hurt and see what happens

I will be leaving in 3 days to Cairo. Both my husband and I are nervous with all the violence that is going on there. Another trip spent mostly in the home. I can't wait for this to end and for Egypt to find Peace.
