Update: I sent an e-mail to the embassy yesterday asking about my husband's case. They responded that it was still being reviewed. So, I called this morning to see if it was still being reviewed, and the woman that answered responded that it was under AP. But, then, she took a look at it more closely and said, "Oh wait, that finished on January 5th and it is currently waiting for the visa to be printed." She also responded that the visa will be printed this week!! I am very excited and thank you all for your prayers and I contemplated on whether or not to call them since they responded to my e-mail. I really think it was great that I called the embassy to get that information. Again, I hope everyone get their spouses home this New Year. Thank you all again. I will keep you updated when he recieves his visa in hand.

Did they say CO review was completed too? So it really is being printed? Yeah!!

I think dhl has been slow lately or just really busy but I hope they speed up this week

That's great news!! Hope he will have it in hand by this time next week!! He interviewed in December, correct? Hope this means ours is soon to follow...

Just FYI, I don't think I posted this but in regards to our interview/case...everything was in order and nothing else requested at interview, tons of proof( our case file was literally almost 3 inches thick! ) We have been married 3 yrs as of Dec 31( interview was Dec 1) so IR1...just waiting assumably for final name/background clearance. Hope this helps somehow

Did you ask specifically

Is he is AP? Usually done in Washington? Can take 1 month to years

Is he in AR-Administrative Review? Usually done at embassy. After it is complete then they can send it to AP then back to Ar and back to AP

Is he in CR-counselor review. Done at embassy. It is on CO desk just waiting for his stamp of approval. Can take 2-3 weeks

Aly, are you still in Egypt? How long have you been there?
