I am guessing Egypt does not want to make other countries angry by making their people wait. So, it is easier to deal with making Egyptians angry rather then 5 other countries governments!

Lol sounds like it but it's the American embassy making those choices. It's frustrating though it shouldn't take this long so that people who are married can be in the same contenant.

Then I would suggest just calling the NVC...since it is easy to get a hold of a representative it is best if you call them And talk directly.

Sept 11, 2011 NOA2-took 19 days to get case number

Sept 30, 2011 NVC number and IIN received Friday-gotta wait till Monday

Oct 13, 2011 Case Completed- 13 days from receiving case number Took 32 days from NOA2

Nov 30, 2011 Notified of Interview date

January 19, 2012 Interview- 240 days from NOA1

INTERVIEW RESULTS-APPROVED WITH 14 WEEKS AP--but he got his visa in 56 days!!!!!!

March 19, 2012 - Case received at NVC (in building)

April 02, 2012 - Received case #, IIN, submitted email addresses

April 03, 2012 - AOS bill invoiced & paid; 'IN PROCESS'

April 03, 2012 - emailed DS-3032

April 04, 2012 - AOS fee cleared from bank account

April 06, 2012 - DS-3032 acceptance email received

April 10, 2012 - AOS payment 'PAID'; AOS package sent

April 16, 2012 - AOS accepted/completed

April 25, 2012 - IV bill invoiced & paid; 'IN PROCESS'

April 27, 2012 - IV payment 'PAID'; IV package sent

May 01, 2012 - NVC case complete!!!

May 09, 2012 - Received interview notification email

May 10, 2012 - Case was sent to embassy

May 16, 2012 - Medical Appointment

Well, It appears as though our thread (that was started about June) will soon be closed.... It was wonderful to see how well Cairo caught up. and now we can see that they have made it to the interviews in 3 month stage and I am very proud of their efforts.

I wish everyone luck. and I am very thankful that the embassy finally recognized that this was a serious issue. Thank you to all those egyptians that had to suffer long before us to wait their interview dates.

I am hoping soon there will be no reason to need this thread because cairo will have caught up and people will get their interviews within 2 months.

But anyone and everyone can keep this thread going. It has been a weath of information for us all.

I will check on it but I will step down soon from updating it. I just took over updating it when amber got her interview. So maybe soon somone else will step up and take over. But so far everyone on this current list has an interview date. Thanks God
