Then I would suggest just calling the NVC...since it is easy to get a hold of a representative it is best if you call them And talk directly.

hi everybody.i wanna say thx god for this page and thx for ur efforts .GOD be with all of us .i want to know howlong it take from the interview to the visa receiving in general

From reading here it seems like it's different by case so maybe a week maybe longer if the person has to go through AP. In sha'a Allah it's an easy passage for u

I called NVC tonight and they said to call back in 2 days for Cairo scheduling for the end of December interviews. So, I guess NVC sent the email to the embassy asking them to finish the December interview schedule and they are waiting for their reply. I hope that means that they will have interviews Tuesday...

I can never trust anything NVC says.

May 24, 2011 NOA1

Sept 11, 2011 NOA2-took 19 days to get case number

Sept 30, 2011 NVC number and IIN received Friday-gotta wait till Monday

Oct 13, 2011 Case Completed- 13 days from receiving case number Took 32 days from NOA2

Nov 30, 2011 Notified of Interview date

January 19, 2012 Interview- 240 days from NOA1

INTERVIEW RESULTS-APPROVED WITH 14 WEEKS AP--but he got his visa in 56 days!!!!!!

I can never trust anything NVC says.

I hope they are right...probably not even their fault. Cairo has been in bit of chaos for a while and looks like they're starting to catch up. It's frustrating for all of us because we have to be without the people we love but I'm sure they're trying to do all they can. In sha'a Allah we will hear soon. Do they put priority to the people that call or just by the dates?

u can call 1000 times a day that will not make a different to them for sure , its by date

I AM READY FOR THE EMBASSY TO GIVE OUR MORE INTERVIEWS IN THE NEXT 3 DAYS!! PLEEEEEEEEEEEASE

I am especially ready for Keko and Mohamed1980 to get their date.

So, if any of you call mid afternoon and get a date please tell us so we can update our list and others will then call for their dates too.

I never said Thank you to Habibi83 because she was the one that started the first interview given on the 3rd and because of her post I believe others got encouraged to call and get their interview dates. So, thank you habibi83 for calling way before your 6 month wait expected timeframe and obtaining your interview date at 4 months and 10 days instead!

Aww Thanks Mary&Besho. I hope I hear something this month also.

I do not know about the family visa interview or those priority date things. They make no sense to me. But, I hope she gets an interview soon. Inshallah!

Has there been any news about end of dec interviews? Or maybe that's just their holiday time.

I plan on calling today at 1130pm cairo time to see if they have given out any cairo interviews.

They only have a holiday on dec 25th from their work calendar.

As you all know I get bored alot. So, I became curious when someone was asking about priority dates.

So, I just was curious as to how long everyone else has been waiting to be together. The wait is very difficult. I must say that many of you are very patient. I hope I do not have to be that patient.

What's a priority date? Is that interview date? Sorry since I'm using a lawyer I don't know what it means.
