January 19, 2012 Interview- 240 days from NOA1

INTERVIEW RESULTS-APPROVED WITH 14 WEEKS AP--but he got his visa in 56 days!!!!!!

Then I would suggest just calling the NVC...since it is easy to get a hold of a representative it is best if you call them And talk directly.

Just called NVC to find out whether any interviews have been scheduled yet for December, and the rep told me that although she hasn't personally come across any, she believes that based on the usual pattern, there must be interviews already scheduled for December. She said December scheduling likely started mid-October and will continue until mid-November. And she said this is the typical pattern from month to month.

On a similar note, what do you all know about the role of priority dates for scheduling? A couple months back I asked NVC about this and they said that they actually do refer to priority dates when scheduling, and that it takes precedence over completion dates. In other words, it seems very possible that someone whose case completed before another would actually be scheduled later because their priority date is not as old. Thoughts?

what you mean by priority date ??? is it the date the NVC recieved the case or the date the case was approved by USCIS ? or what date exactly

I am praying that Cairo gives out the December interviews this week!!.

They have not updated the Interview schedule online since the 17th of October.

I am hoping, wishing and praying for many interviews to be given. Call NVC and then update us. I called NVC yesterday and asked if the man had given out any cairo interviews yesterday and he said none given from him on Wed but many other countries receieved interviews yesterday. So, keep the hope alive.

This is great, congrats! When were your priority dates? (When the petition was originally filed)?

Pyramids, I believe NVC lied or did not know what they are talking about.

You can see from the list we have that they schedule cairo in order of case completed dates.

That is why the CC correlates to the next in line for interviews.

YOurs will come soon if it hasn't already!
