well so far the cases that were completed in may 2011 do not have an appointment in october 2011 so if ur case was completed in september then maybe u will get ur interview in feb or march of 2012 unless they speed up for some reason but at least if u r lucky will be 4 month as it used to take before the revolution

i wish they speed up for some reason but before the revolution they not used to be 4 monthes , i have my friend her case completed on june and her interview was on july after one month and i have a friend after revolution travelled but her fiance made her paper in engagment but she made interview after revolution and travelled why they delay cr1 visa interview all this time?

I just looked at Cairo website and found 34 interviews scheduled in July for CR! and IR1 visas. Last time I looked there were only a few scheduled. So, I hope everyone got theirs today!!

Can you tell me how to check how many interviews are scheduled for Cairo, please? My husband is waiting for an interview since August; the file @NVC has been completed on Aug8th,2010. Please can you let me know how i can check to see for the names of the scheduled interviews please? Where do i go to check this?

this is the link to check the interview schedule it goes by case # not by name , plus if ur case was completed in august u still have a while it takes up to 6 month now for the embassy to schedule an appointment people who were approved in april just got thier appointment to be done in october so hang in there u still have may/june and july before they get to august , i know it sucks but what can u do , sorry

Thank you for the link. I just looked at the website and OMG!!! most the people scheduled are from Sudan!!!! What about the Egyptians???!!!! There are only few Egyptians. What the hell is this???? Why are they processing Sudanes over Egypitans aps? At this pace, it will take forever for them to get to our file...I'm feeling sick from looking at this. The usa immigration and gov really has a very slow process...I'm so upset after seeing this...

Wendy, do you know why it took 5 months for your case to leave NVC after it was completed, to reach the embassy?

Im shocked, its usually just several days, or maybe 2 weeks, Now Im wondering how long for us to complete this process.

Could the Sudan be the lottery winners? Ive seen that before, in 2008, they took place of Egyptian interviews.
