We used ziprealty.com - not sure if it does all states. We found realtor.com had a lot of out of date information - we were continually getting excited about a find only to discover it sold months ago.

Canadians Visiting the USA while undergoing the visa process, my free advice:

1) Always tell the TRUTH. never lie to the POE officer

2) Be confident in ur replies

3) keep ur response short and to the point, don't tell ur life story!!

4) look the POE officer in the eye when speaking to them. They are looking for people lieing and have been trained to find them!

5) Pack light! No job resumes with you

6) Bring ties to Canada (letter from employer when ur expected back at work, lease, etc etc)

7) Always be polite, being rude isn't going to get ya anywhere, and could make things worse!!

8) Have a plan in case u do get denied (be polite) It wont harm ur visa application if ur denied,that is if ur polite and didn't lie! Refer to #1

Jan 29/07............... Went to cargo expresso to get my passport, which means: VISA RECEIVED!!!

Apr 27/07............... Married my one and only at 10;30am

Jul 06/07............... Finally mailed away AOS

Jul 19/07............... Check was cashed

Jul 21/07............... Thanks God we received NOA1

Jul 24/07............... Thanks God we received Biometrics letter

Ag 17/07............... Biometrics @ 12

I bought my house through Ziprealty, The realy was really nice dude and very friendly, no pressure. But to find the best house that suit you,

You have to do a little homework, basically talking to your agent, you can tell him/her what house you like, what feature and options and price range you are looking at, The more the realy know about your need, the easier he can help you. Sometimes you might even see a house on your own or through a paper or a drive through, as your realtor, you can give him the house address and the realtor will do a comparaison pricewise of the houses nearby.

But THE BEST FEATURE is the REBATE

Ziprealty gives you back 25% of the commission. I don't work for them nor am i affliated with them the information i gave is based on my personal experience with one Realtor here in the san francisco bay area, Herb Zeiss.
