Hi what is a joint sponsor what is it they do??

I did not meet the poverty guide for 2009 and 2008 and I feel as though it is gong to be a problem when my husband go to his interview

We cannot find a cosponser yet so what is a joint sponser???? is this when they can combine my income and tax income with another family member???

I have no one else living in my household.. to do a joint sponsor how does it work and do they have to live in my household

if u dont meet requirement for AOS... u can use joint or co-sponser...

lets say if any of ur family staying with u under 1 roof helps u out then u will file I864 and ur family member will fill out I864A

but if u live alone and ask help from ur family member then u both will have to fill out I864.....

you don't use the i864a since there is no one in your household. you have the cosponsor provide a separate i864.

Start by reading the excellent instructions that come with the I-864. No such thing as a cosponsor really. It's just term we use in K visa cases. For a spouse case, CR1 or IR1, you'll use a joint sponsor.
