NVC had file now no record

When I called the NVC they gave me my case number but I called the automated line a few minutes ago to see if it had left NVC to the embassy and it says there is no record of the file then I enter my wac number and it says the same does this mean it has left already or does this mean something bad happen?

Also I looked on dhl and the was a file sent out on the 15th and signed for on the 20th (today) I think it is our file but after the automated message I am not sure. Any advice?
