Travel before the Interview Date

Hi Everyone,

I am going to travel for 2 weeks before the date of my interview. my interview date is on July 19th. i am leaving on July 1st and will be back on July 17th. Will that be an issue?

Because on the interview they ask if i traveled outside the US since i applied, so i wasn't sure if that would be an issue or not.

The bottom line there If they ask you about your present traveled that would be an issue..might be good or bad if something goes wrong.Your in trouble.just hope that everything will goes smoothly. good luck think twice b4 you move

Not sure what the previous poster is implying, you don't have anything to fear.

You will simply update them on your recent travels at the interview. I applied last Feb and I have been back to Canada twice since - once in April for a week and then over this coming long weekend (1 week before my interview).

No worries at all. They understand that you might actually do something with your life during the 4, 5, 6 months they make you wait

The main reason they ask if you traveled since you applied is because they want to make sure you are still meeting your physical presence and continuous residence. Just make sure if the officer doesn't ask to point it out yourself that you have traveled and bring with you supporting documents... passport exit/entry stamps.
