Sorry I'm a little late to the party but I was also a female petitioner. My husband and I were living overseas when we went through the process so we never had to deal with Manila. Jelloshotgirl is another female petitioner that has been on here a while.

I remember JelloShotGirl. I see she hasn't posted for a long time. I hope she's lurking and sees this thread.

Yeah, she always had fun posts. I think she checks in every once in awhile.

If you see this, jelloshotgirl, hope you and your husband are doing well!

Hello :)

I'm a female Filipino petitioner and my FIANCE is in the Philippines. I too also wonder how the experience is for other female petitioners. Me my FIANCE are also the same age 24...hehe btw my FIANCE still is trying to obtain his passport, he turned in his application on his first trip to lucena but they made him wait and nothing. Then he went back for a 2nd trip to lucena city and nothing again, just waiting the whole entire day. It makes me worry because he needs his passport soon. What should he do. Does lucena city have that appointment system like Manila? They told him to return in 2 weeks.

Hello everyone, :)

I'm also a female Filipina petitioner and my fiance is in the Philippines. We're college sweethearts and I was just recently naturalized so finally, we were able to start our K1 visa journey. We just submitted our i-129F petition last week and hopefully all goes well. :) I was just wondering how did everything go? Like the interview? Most of the interview experiences I've seen here in VJ are from male petitioner/female fiancee. Any info would be greatly appreciated.

For those who have already been granted K1 visa or are already with their future husband/wife here in the US, congratulations! I wish and pray that our time will come soon.

Thank you!

Kim
