VJs K1-visa estimated timeline for NOA2

For those who already receive their NOA2s, I was just curious if the estimated time frame in visa journey is the same or closed to when you received it?. Thanks everyone!

Ours came earlier, May 17. The estimation here in VJ indicated we would get the NOA2 around end of July to 1st week of August.

mine came earlier as well.. VJ had said about 5 months, I got it at 4 months. =)

It seems the more time that passes after you updated your timeline with NOA 1 the more accurate it becomes. This is party due to the reason that other members are updating their timeline to reflect when they receive their NOA 2 and that will change your expected date. My original date after creating the timeline was somewhere around 6 months. It is now up to July 2nd and has been creeping earlier every couple of days I check. Just keep an eye on the date because it will change.

It does seem as if the expected NOA 2 date is pretty accurate with a lot of VJers. Im just waiting on my NOA 2 and I hope it is accurate for me.

As many said --it is just an estimate . It depends if your background check comes back early and favorable . Also many other factors can get an approval sooner or later .There is NO guarentee .

i hope everyone updates their timeline as soon as they get their NOA2 specially those September 2011 under CSC. We, October Filers are so anxious now.

Fine is keep changing up and down all the time. I dont know if i cant count of it. Are couples with the same date of mine and had to receive noa2 on February and they still havent or havent update their timeline. For me once it say march 7 or 16 to 28 march or April 1. Today is the 6 and my timeline changed again and says 6 to 28. Hope it wont change again and go to April. Lets see how accurate is. We had a rfe too but was only of the fee not for the papers so when we fixed the fee problem our petition went immidiatly to initial review. The papers were all scanned with something like barcode and signature.and they wer telling us we wont have to go though the begining and wait for initial review.
