Hi all- longtime lurker, first time posting. Please forgive me if I'm in the wrong area of the forums; I tried to figure out the right place to post, but it's a bit confusing!

Here's my question: How do I determine my "current individual annual income" for Line 23 of Form I-864? My husband and I filed our 2010 taxes jointly, so the adjusted gross income from our tax forms includes his earnings as well as mine.

In case this is relevant: I have income on W-2s from one job and self-employment income that I reported with Schedule SE and Schedule C. We can't use his earnings to meet the income requirement, since his job as a graduate assistant will end when he finishes his doctorate in December. My W-2 income is just shy of $18,387, so I definitely have to include my self-employment income to meet the income requirement.

Add up how much you made before taxes and they will see the W2s and Schedules with your name on it and know they are yours. Good luck!

AOS for my husband
8/17/10: INTERVIEW DAY (day 123) APPROVED!!

ROC:
5/23/12: Sent out package
2/06/13: APPROVED!
