Just because you happen to live somewhere doesn't mean you hold sovereignty over the territory.

We are not talking about "sovereignty," we are talking about the basic human right of people to return to their homes and property. Changing the sign at city hall does not negate those rights.

Ah, but Israelis do??? This is the part I never get. It seems like a circular argument over and over.

Let's say you abandon your home in Texas (or wherever it is that you live) for 40 years. Or even 5 years.

Do you expect to find it there when you return after years of unpaid property taxes?

The municipality will conduct an auction where the winning bidder will be awarded a

limited warranty deed to the property and you'll be out of luck.

You're not interested in the reality, coz that's not it. You prefer the ####### in your head, which makes you a waste of my time.

For this analogy to work, Texas would need to become another country effectively.

Abandoning a home, say, because suddenly you lose your job, and you are forced to foreclose, for example are waaaaaaaaaaay different than being forced out of your home. I doubt these people left just because they wanted to abandon their homes. I doubt they left on their own free will.

My point is, even if Texas DOESN'T become another country, you can't just abandon something

and try to claim it 60 years later.

With that reasoning, Jews have been not had control of that land since 135 CE. That's a lot longer than 60 years.

A lot of people have been in control of that land since 135 CE.

Yes, but it is the Zionists who think it belongs to them.

I will remind everyone once again to stop making personal attacks or risk being thread banned from participating in this thread.

“...Isn't it splendid to think of all the things there are to find out about? It just makes me feel glad to be alive--it's such an interesting world. It wouldn't be half so interesting if we knew all about everything, would it? There'd be no scope for imagination then, would there?”

The Zionists are claiming dominion because they lived there during the time of Jesus. Using your reasoning, they have no right to it now.
