Well, nobody gets into power without the consent of the Sephardim.

Bloody Hell, another name change? Have you used them up for the year?

True, but in a way the US isn't much different. If the Christian Right, find out your a muslim...your screwed. (I'm the Christian Middle, so I'd vote for a muslim...but there aren't many of us...)

I think the Republicans are more likely to pay attention to the tea party this time around, than the bible thumpers. Like the abortion and peace crowd on the left, the christian right has no other place to go.

OK now besides Sofiya who keeps giving her a +1,lol.

I appreciate you taking the time to go into such detail on every post and I wish I had the time to do the same but I dont. This was never about it being less disqusting because Israel did it, that seems to be what your trying to push here. I took issue with you comparing the two, a sort of "look there doing it too" approach. Childish IMO. Also I became more alarmed with the Palestinians because of the numbers not because it was Palestinians. I find the actions equally disgusting.

Also please quit making excuses for Hamas. They are a disgusting group of individuals that need to be taken out and shot. There is no excuse for voting them into power. Shame on the Palestinian people who voted for Hamas.

Well, the Palestinians think the terrorists that the Israelis keep electing as their leaders are pretty disgusting, yet the Palestinians are expected to negotiate with them. Glass houses.

As I've already pointed out in this very thread:

Experts across the international spectrum - even Israel’s own military officials, security experts plus a majority of regular citizens - have urged the Israeli government to include Hamas in the peace process:

‘We’ll Have to Talk - Growing chrous of Israelis Call for negotiations with Hamas

Israeli Hawks Say: Talk with Hamas

Why the U.S. Should Start Talking to Hamas

Talk to Hamas

Hamas must be brought into the peace process, says Tony Blair

Why We Cannot Talk With Hamas (the title is a tease; it’s actually about the history of Israel & Hamas and examines the motives behind Israel’s official refusal to negotiate)

Simpson is asking that we ignore what the Israelis do, coz it's more childish and disgusting that we notice what they do than it is childish and disgusting what they do.

I'm finding the same circular argument regarding the Norwegian Christian terrorist who can't be a "real" Christian because his acts in the name of their faith makes some Christians uncomfortable. Never mind what makes Palestinians or Muslims uncomfortable.

Israel is our friend, and we must always support our friends, even when they are wrong, because otherwise we wouldn't have any friends.

Christians are a small minority in Israel.

Christians made up 20% of the population of historic Palestine.....

Right up until 1948.

Latest Population Figures for Israel

(2011)

On the eve of its 63rd Independence Day, Israel's population stood at 7,746,000, according to figures released by the Central Bureau of Statistics (CBS). Some 5,837,000 of the population (75.3 percent) are Jewish Israelis, 1,587,000 (20.5%) are Israeli Arabs and those not identified as either make up the remaining 4.2% of the population, or 322,000 people. When the state was established, there were only 806,000 residents, with this number reaching its first and second million in 1949 and 1958 respectively. Today, over 70% of the total Jewish population are "Sabras" - born in Israel - compared with 35% native-born in 1948.

That's like saying, Yes, we still have Africans here; they're just out in the Bantustans.

The land is either occupied (in which case it's under Israeli control) or it's not - then you count them separately. Can't have it both ways.

"Alleged" ? Are you denying that more than 750,000 Palestinians were expelled from their homes during the creation of what is now the State of Israel - either driven out, or fled the fighting - and then denied the right to return ?
