By the way, this sort of thing happens all the time in occupied Palestine - I have witnessed it many times with my own eyes. And the "provocation" could be anything or nothing. One time I was at Qalandia checkpoint outside Ramallah and an elderly lady was trying to cross to go to her home but the soldier would not allow her to pass. She had already been waiting for hours, and she started crying. Immmediately, he cocked that rifle and stuck it right in her face, about 1 inch from her nose. What a disgrace to the uniform.

Walk up to any police officer or soldier on patrol anywhere in the world, act like that idiot and see what happens. I was referencing and only watched the first video.

Wow. Palestinians are idiots for resisting an illegal and brutal occupation. Living in reconcentrados can be fun. BTW, Charlie Sheen has just signed up for a new show, Palestinians Behaving Badly. Each episode starts with armed goons searching his house at all hours of the night and day and giving him a rifle butt because he didn't move fast enough. Every other episode he gets thrown out of his house because it's needed for military purposes and the season finale is when bulldozers crush his house and kill an American protester.

Well there you have it. Citing international law and the Geneva Convention makes one an "extremist."

This morning I only watched the first video and I watched it again twice and my opinion stands. I did garble the facts to a degree and stand corrected, the IDF officer pushed the man back who approached rapidly despite repeated warnings to get back, so my opinion doesn't change. Try behaving like that anywhere in the world during an arrest and see how it goes. Scary but not criminal on the IDF officers action is the best I can give you.

I just watched the 2nd and 3rd videos. Again not much to put either situation in context, but in the 3rd video the man getting arrested is resisting, is injured, and despite the obvious tension and chaos the cuffs are removed.

Watching COPS in the US I routinely see them jump on a guy that has his hands out laying sprawled out on the ground. Seems like excessive force to me. Kinda makes you think "why give up?" they're gonna kick your #### anyway.
