Not true. I have addressed this issue in detail with Sofyia and WOM. They tend to gloss over anything Muslim and continue to make it all about Israel. I have said on more than one occasion that Israel needs to quit making excuses and go back to the pre 67 borders.

BTW, if you were even in the slightest way familiar with or knowledgeable about leading contemporary Palestinian political voices, you would know that Dr. Mustafa Barghouti is hardly a "garbage" source.

Oh I see. I don't use Chrome anymore I went back to firefox, part of the reason being that it has had a hard time loading pages at VJ. I don't have this issue when using firefox.

The introduction alone tells me that this is a one-sided point of view. No way in hell would I waste a hour on this biased point of view. He talks about the Untied Nations involvement and the 55% that expanded to 78% all the while not mentioning anything that happened until 1988 when the Palistinain people decided to comprise. If it was that simple...Mustafa's choice of words alone tell me that I'm not going to get a fair assessment of the situation. "To our great surprise" when referring to why the 88 peace accords didnt work. Why would I waste my time. Regardless I know the history. Where I stand on this situation is a result of a open mind and good research.

Greek coast guard seizes Canadian ship bound for Gaza

Canadian ship 'Tahrir' tries to set sail for Gaza after Greek authorities had banned the departure of all ships to Gaza from its ports; all passengers due to be detained once returning to Greek port.

The Canadian ship "Tahrir", participating in the flotilla to Gaza, attempted to depart Monday from the Greek port of Agios Nikolaos, but was intercepted by the Greek coast guard shortly after departure.

The Greek coast guard boarded the Canadian ship after the Greek authorities had banned the departure of all ships to Gaza from its ports.

As the Canadian ship departed from the port with all passengers on board wearing life vests, the Greek coast guard tracked the ship in the water and boarded it within minutes.

After seizing the ship, coast guard officers asked who was the captain but the passengers refused to reply, with every passenger saying that he was the captain.

Some of the passengers yelled "release our ship!" and one of the protesters asked two coast guard officers whether they had children, and whether they were thinking about the children in Gaza.

Greek coast guard officers are currently sailing the Tahrir back to the port, and the passengers are all due to be taken into custody by Greek authorities.

On Sunday, the organizers of the Gaza flotilla announced that the flotilla ships anchored in Greek ports are planning to set sail to Gaza on Monday. The decision came despite the Greek's governments ban on any ships to depart from its ports to Gaza.

On Monday, as a compromise, the Greek government offered to send the flotilla's humanitarian aid to Gaza with Greek diplomats, under United Nations supervision. Israel has agreed to the offer.

The terrorists on these flotilla ships are not idiots. They are not going to shoot at

the Greek coast guard and draw international condemnation. Why would they? Israel is

their enemy, not Greece.
