Hello everyone !

I have question about translations for civil documents that need to send with DS-230, they must be original or I can send copies to NVC and my wife will bring the original translations at interview.

Thank you for your information.

USCIS:

Priority mail to Chicago - 01/11/2011

NOA1 Email (Priority 1/13) - 01/14/2011

NOA1 Hard Copy - 01/19/2011

NOA2 USCIS Case Status - 06/13/2011

NOA2 Hard Copy - 06/18/2011

NVC:

NVC Case Number - 07/11/2011

DS-3032 Email sent to NVC - 07/20/2011

AOS Fee Bill Received & Paid online - 07/20/2011

Mail AOS to NVC - 07/22/2011

IV Fee Bill Received & Paid Online - 07/27/2011

Mail DS-230 to NVC - 08/02/2011

Case complete - 08/11/2011

Medical - 09/02/2011

Interview - 10/05/2011 - Approved

Pick up passport + visa - 10/11/2011

Filed: Citizen (apr) Country: Mexico

Original plus a copy to the NVC. You get the originals back at the interview.

No translation is necessary if the documents are in the same language spoken in the country where the consulate is, otherwise they must be translated into English.
