I called the NVC because I am completely confused. I live with my mom and her husband. I need to fill out the I-864 but I do not know what they need to fill out. My mom is the sponsor but needs the income bump from my stepdad. Can someone please help. The NVC said they couldnt tell me what form to use.

12/20/2010 - Mailed I-130 to Chicago Lock Box via USPS Express Mail

12/22/2010 - Delivered (online tracking confirmation)

12/27/2010 - NOA1 Email and Text from USCIS. Off to CA!!

12/30/2010 - NOA1 Hardcopy Received. Priority date is 12/22/2010.

02/16/2011 - Touched

05/26/2011 - NOA2 155 days after NOA1!

05/31/2011 - NOA2 Hardcopy Received. No text or email notification.

06/14/2011 - NVC Case & IIN Numbers Received

21/05/2011 DS3032 email Sent /

23/05/2011 paid the AOS fee Bill

25/05/2011 AOS statut PAID

25/05/2011 Sent Request to clear the error in my name (ughhh)

27/05/2011 PAID the IV BILL -statut in process

28/05/2011 got the response for my request to modify the error in my name..== OK

31/05/2011 AOS Package sent via usps express

01/06/2011 IV bill statut " PAID "

03/06/2011 AOS Package received by NVC

03/06/2011 IV Package sent via usps express

05/06/2011 IV Package received by NVC

05/06/2011 fingers crossed

17/06/2011 second stupid FALSE RFE for missing DS230

You definitely I-864.

I would say your mom I-864 too, as she isn't dependant on you (presumably), and then her husband I-864A.

Me: Irish/ Swiss citizen, and now naturalised US citizen. Husband: USC; twin babies born Feb 08 in Ireland and a daughter in Feb 2010 in Arkansas who are all joint Irish/ USC. Did DCF (IR1) in 6 weeks via the Dublin, Ireland embassy and now living in Arkansas.

Even if we they are my household members?

Have the same dilemma it's very confusing! My husband lives with his parents and when I do come to the US i will live with my husband and his parents. I'm confused whether my father in law should fill out I-864 or I-864A. From the instructions, it looks like they need I-864A because he is already a part of the household. and my husband, though he does not have any income needs to fill out I-864 and hubby would just need to include his parents in the i-864 question 24. right? :wacko:

I'm talking rubbish! Let's just wait for other comments/replies...
