Nothing yet for me. I just sent letters to my State Senator and State Representative. Hopefully that will get the ball rolling.

I received my green card in mail on July 7th.

I wrote a letter to my congressman and faxed it to their office(went on his webpage). I had to fill out some privacy statements, etc.

I wrote a cover page explaining that USCIS received my removal application on July 7th, I completed my biometrics on time, and people were being approved who applied in September 2011. I also wrote that I felt the evidence I submitted was more than adequate as we own investment properties, share bank accounts, health and life insurance, etc.

Within one day of the congressman's office receiving my letter they called me to say they were going to contact USCIS.

Five days after that I received an email saying I was approved.

-Joint Checking and Savings account statement

-Copy of our joint credit cards

-Joint insurance card copies

-Various pictures together

After receiving the approval letter in April, I haven't received anything else from USCIS. Two months later I called them, as instructed. The first lady couldn't tell me anything other than what I could see online (that in July 2011 they received my papers)so I asked to speak to a supervisor. After being on hold for close to 25 minutes this lady started asking me questions to verify my info. She asked me about 5 questions about me and then asked what my dad's first name was. My dad goes by his middle name so it took me 2 seconds to realize what she was asking and to tell her my dad's name. It was too late - she told me I didn't know my dad's name so I needed to make an appointment and go to USCIS to find out what I wanted. I was so mad! After 2 months of waiting she wouldn't even let me tell her why I hesitated! Anyway, I decided not to make an appointment (summers are very busy here) and I called again on the 15th of this month. I spoke to a very nice lady who asked me a bunch of questions but didn't tell me anything other than to wait for 15 days and if I don't get anything in the mail I should call again. I am happy to report that this morning they finally order the production of my green card. (It only took a year and a day).

I don't know if people haven't updated their info or if they are still waiting for the decision, but if they are, I have my fingers crossed for you! It should be over soon! See you on the Naturalization page!

After more than 1 year of waiting, after an infopass appointment and a letter to my senator, I finally received a text today that USCIS ordered the production of my new card..to be received within 30 days.. During my last Infopass appointment they also stamped my passport for 1 year extension.. It has been a looooong wait...just happy I could breath for a while... :yes:

CSC filer .MythaG- is already a US citizen Looks like she joined army and got citizenship early. (from signature timeline, but there is no ROC approval date...)

VSC filer CAV & LISA has changed username to EL & LEE and they already got approved :dance: !! (from VJ Timeline) Updating approval
