I guess I owe my State Representative Langford's office a huge "Thank you!" They got the ball rolling with USCIS about my pending case. My husband called yesterday evening while I was at work saying I received the approval letter from USCIS. FINALLY! Date of decision 6/26

Wow I do read the forums when I have time, but still shocked about the length of time people are still waiting. I know how difficult initial process was and the removal for us sailed in 3 months.

We can only feel for those still waiting, your waiting will be worth it, but it is hard to sholw support in just words.

pictures, plane tickets, hotel bills, random bills, bank statements, insurance, car titles, rental stuff, etc...

Anybody think it'd be good to throw some personal affidavids in there too? Thing is, we don't really have a lot of friends here. The ones we do have, are deployed. Also my husband is deploying pretty soon so I'll probably have to do the biometrics on my own.

Can anyone tell me how far the way is on average? Like, I live in the GA countryside and would it then always be in the next bigger city like Atlanta?

I guess I owe my State Representative Langford's office a huge "Thank you!" They got the ball rolling with USCIS about my pending case. My husband called yesterday evening while I was at work saying I received the approval letter from USCIS. FINALLY! Date of decision 6/26

That is wonderful. I can imagine it must be such a relief.I am still awaiting some news on my case. Hopefully soon I will hear something positive as well. We went to get the passport stamped for the 1 year extension and the lady there said they dont know why VSC takes so long to process the cases. She said they had someone come in who had filed for ROC in 2009 and their case was still under "Initial Review" status. She said we can go ahead and file for citizenship as soon as its due and that we dont need to wait to receive the approval of the Green card. I will call the USCIS office Monday and if they dont have any news, I will start getting the paperwork ready for the N-400 and go ahead and file it in August first week.
