Don't feel bad Im still waiting too.I called the Immigration office today and they ask some questions and said they were going to do a service request and that I should hear some thing from them with in 15 days. Does anyone know what a service request is? Or has had one and can explained to me what it is.

I called USCIS and they issued a service request for me as well (May 16th). A service request means they send your information to VSC (or whatever service center you are based out of) and they look at your case to find out what is happening with it. I haven't heard anything about mine yet. From what I have read on visajourney, I don't think service requests seem to do much good.

I received a letter from USCIS last night.

After all my personal information, the last paragraph says "Your case is currently under review. You should receive a decision or notice of other action within 60 days of the date of this letter."

so...more waiting!

Hi there ..new here.. I filed my removal of conditions last July 11th 2011.. Biometrics done: August 5th 2011.. been waiting for more than 10 months now..Recently I called the USCIS for service incquiry ( May 18th).. I just received this letter stating to still wait for 60 more days.. I' am planning to schedule an infopass this coming friday the 1st (June).. or is it better to just wait? since I just got this letter...

Hi Li_Ro, I think if you are not going to travel then you can wait, but if you need to travel, then you will need to get your passport stamped.If you were just going to find the status of your case, then they will tell you the same thing which is in the letter---to wait and you will hear something. Its really frustrating but nothing we can do except to wait.

Finallllly got approved after coming back from my parents house for the weekend and holiday. Approved May 24th from the local office (didn't even know the file went there). I was literally two days from contacting my congressman. :)
