A fun little story. . . I arrived home today, 4/20 at precisely 4:20 and found the green card waiting in the mailbox. It does have a working tracking number, so as soon as USCIS indicates it has shipped, one can call them to get the tracking number. . . now get this, the first three digits of the tracking number are... 420. Synchronicity, huh?

So I called USCIS and I confirmed that I did get approved but my son is still pending! They did not send me any notice, yet they said that they require two passport photos and need to make an InfoPass appmnt...ugh.. why can't I have gotten a normal approval lol...

I mean I am semi happy, but what a pain!

It's just such a pain to now have to drive an hour into the city and try to sort this out. I never knew this was a requirement. It would have been nice of they sent me something...i didn't even get an RFE or anything. I had to call to find out he is still pending.

So my appmnt is this coming Tues. I'm just not sure if the photos need to be notarized?

I will keep you all posted.

The good news is that they said as soon as I supply this, he will be approved. I just want to make sure I show up prepared and get approved quickly. So I am not taking any chances and will get them notarized. I also have to take my son with me to my appmnt.
