random commentary: this time around is much easier for me. my husband came on a K1 visa. that process was so emotionally exhausting, partially because i was learning as i went (a fairly significant feat of organization and execution!), and also because we were apart for it. for AOS and now ROC, im much less anxious because i figure it will sort itself out eventually and in the meantime, i have him as a support. i suppose there is the issue of it not resolving before the GC extension expires, but i am thinking positively!

i do find myself getting worried some days, but ive really been trying to fight that feeling, as it is not productive for me. for example, i forgot to put the A# on each page of the ROC (but i also neglected to do this with AOS and that went smoothly). i worry about that some days, but really, i know that if it is a problem, i will just address it and keep at it until the 10yr GC is in hand! ours is a legitimate application and i have faith that, in time, our beloved USCIS will do what they need to do for my husband to remove the conditions of residency.

random commentary: this time around is much easier for me. my husband came on a K1 visa. that process was so emotionally exhausting, partially because i was learning as i went (a fairly significant feat of organization and execution!), and also because we were apart for it. for AOS and now ROC, im much less anxious because i figure it will sort itself out eventually and in the meantime, i have him as a support. i suppose there is the issue of it not resolving before the GC extension expires, but i am thinking positively!

i do find myself getting worried some days, but ive really been trying to fight that feeling, as it is not productive for me. for example, i forgot to put the A# on each page of the ROC (but i also neglected to do this with AOS and that went smoothly). i worry about that some days, but really, i know that if it is a problem, i will just address it and keep at it until the 10yr GC is in hand! ours is a legitimate application and i have faith that, in time, our beloved USCIS will do what they need to do for my husband to remove the conditions of residency.

As for the A#, I personally wrote mine down on each page of our docs with the thought that it'll be easier for the reviewer to identify our papers. However, I've read that some people did not put theirs either. And just like you said, you didn't put yours on your AOS and everything was fine so, I won't worry too much.

ugh, i just came to realize after reading the first two posts that i think i filed too early......i read in the guides here what they will do if you file early....just send the stuff back b/c its too early......but i hope they send everything back! money and pictures and the whole packet...... then i will just hold onto it to send it again when it is time....i guess i confused myself and thought that it was 6 months before it expired you could send the packet off... i feel like i just got punched in the gut....or maybe thats just the morning sickness...

ugh, i just came to realize after reading the first two posts that i think i filed too early......i read in the guides here what they will do if you file early....just send the stuff back b/c its too early......but i hope they send everything back! money and pictures and the whole packet...... then i will just hold onto it to send it again when it is time....i guess i confused myself and thought that it was 6 months before it expired you could send the packet off... i feel like i just got punched in the gut....or maybe thats just the morning sickness...

well, you will be ahead of the game once it's time to send! better early than late. chin up!
