im stressed to the maximum at the moment. but its not immigration stress. at least immigration is faceless. restaurant customers are right in your face and theyre hungry! : ( im having the proverbial terrible horrible no good very bad day. and i cried. Hello!!

I just received a txt message saying that my case had been updated, then I went to USCIS online and I found the following message:

"On January 18, 2012, we ordered production of your new card. Please allow 30 days for your card to be mailed to you. If we need something from you we will contact you. If you move before you receive the card, call customer service at 1-800-375-5283."

Wow! It's always great to see an approval. Congratulations! Good luck with the last one. The N-400.

Hmmm I just entered the WAC number, before November it came up with info.

We haven't sent in the RFE yet, we have an infopass appointment on the 26th. There is nothing more I can send them on the list that they don't already have, so I've printed off updated versions of everything I sent them before. I really don't know what else to do.

I hope everything goes well.

same here... but ours are worse. I guess... we got rear-ended last monday... we had a whiplash so my husband and I have been under medication since. the meds are making us both loopy. just glad that my arms are still able to function.

Well, today I decided to call the USCIS to inquire about my case since its been alittle more than 6 months now and Vermont seems to have gone into hibernation. As expected, the lady gave me the same robotic answer after wasting 20 minutes of my time over the phone. The end result as per the operator was that My office hasn't reached my application yet as there are pending cases before mine. Then to sweetn the deal, she said, it usually takes between 6 months and a year to decide a CR-189(I-751) case and that too depends on the situation. At this point I just thanked her and decided to hang up before I lose my mind. Seems like we are in for a longer wait. I wonder if one can truly file for citizenship while ROC is still pending. I have read on various posts and forums that it is possible but am not sure how practicle that is. For if that is possible, then there is no point in worrying about the ROC and one should just wait till its time to file for Naturalization.

Bracing for February now. With my luck, I should be expecting an RFE or an interview.

as far as I know you can apply for citizenship while i-751 in pending. you do have to remove the condition because you would lose your status of you dont! Good luck and good luck to all of us, Vermont is beyond slow!!!

Just my luck, got the dreaded blue RFE letter today. The tiny return envelope that comes with it is laughable. Oh well.. at least they didn't lose my application.
