ds-156 form has expired date

Hey all,

Just had a quick question and was hoping someone could help . I am filling out the ds-156 electronic app online and the date in the corner has expired. I have been waiting for them to change the date but must get this form in the mail before my fiances interview. Will they still accept this form? What has happened in the past?
