I did my DS-156 and never realized that i have a single mistake, i dont know if we are allowed to manually erase it and write the correct one or we are allowed to change the application. Im just a little bit concern on the barcode, that is why i cannot change and retype again the application.

Please i need your reply. Thanks a lot friends. God bless

You can fill up a new DS-156 form, no problem. The hard copy of the final one is the only one they scan at the embassy so don't worry about generating more than one barcode in the process ( I had errors too and filled up the form 3X).
