Brasilian Cell Phones

I have the most impossible time trying to call my fiances cell phone. I always get this message with a lady speaking (of course at 100mph, so no clue what she is saying lol).

When I try using a different service to call, it says all lines are busy... huh?

Is there something I don't know about cell phones in Brasil???

Actually, just tried again... it says all circuits are busy..... huh?

Strange thing is, one time I managed to get connected, we both said hello, then the line dropped.

Are you using a phone card? Is it the cheapest per minute rate you could find? I have found with phone cards that the cheaper phone cards are also the poorest quality connections.

Actually it was with Skype, and with Yahoo Voice... Skype would give me the female message, or the little jingle jangle. Yahoo would have some lady (but I think she was speaking Chinese, not sure why considering I'm calling Brasil ) then it says in English that all circuits are busy.

It has nothing to do with Brazil, maybe she doesn't have a good cell phone service. Which one does she use? Tim? Oi? Claro? Vivo? Maybe her cell phone is always turned off. Maybe where she is is not a good place to talk on cell phones. There's a lot of reasons it can be, we have very good cell phone services here, I know because I've worked with that.

Maybe where she is is not a good place to talk on cell phones. There's a lot of reasons it can be, we have very good cell phone services here, I know because I've worked with that.

I wouldn't have a clue about what company she uses. I'm guessing it's her phone/location though, sometimes I can get through no problem, and other times it's just impossible.

I don't need to call her cell often, but it's always hit or miss when I do I usually have a good laugh, because she got it in case I needed to get a hold of her when she wasn't home... but that hasn't worked out quite like we planned.

Ive never had problems, tho... I used Claro (To go) and Marc was calling me from Skype... There was times we talked 4-5 hours in a row without a drop... The battery on my cell phone turned very hot sometimes, so as my ears...

ALways had problems calling Vals Cell in Salvador. Somtimes I would just get blank - nothing and then I call again and my calling card is practiclly spent.

I use to have the same problem but I switched service I was using. To call a cell phone in Brazil is a little high .14 cents a minute but calling my Fiancees home is only .03 cents a minute. And I never have a problem getting through to either phone. Plus I can use my cell phone to call her and a total of 10 different phone I can call from to receive the same rate. You only have to buy 25.00 dollars of phone minutes at a time and of course you can buy more than that. No cost to start the service and no connect charges. It great to me and I can print out all the phone records straight off the web site.
