If I were you I would still show up on that date and try. Not sure how much the system has changed since last dec but I remember on my interview date that they let us in with the appt notice and they didn't match it to the pc first... unless things have changed now. Goodluck! :)

My Journey:

We met through a study-abroad program in Shanghai, China in August of 2009

We got engaged March of 2010

I received my K1 VISA in 6 months (June-December 2010)

We were married 04/02/2011
I received my conditional 2-year greencard (AOS) in 2.5 months with no interview (April-June 2011)

Our son was born 02/03/2013

I received my masters degree in Speech-Language Pathology 04/17/2013

I received my 10-year greencard (ROC) in 3 months with no interview (March-June 2013)

My husband returned from deployment 06/20/2013

My naturalization journey took 4 months (April-August 2014)

I became a US citizen on 08/01/2014

Received passport in 3 weeks (regular processing)

Thank you, VJ! smile.png

Also, regarding your original concern about changing the delivery address, they will give you another courier form to fill up when you arrive for your interview. And that's what they will follow. So yes, show up on the date that you have on your appointment paper. Maybe the system has been delayed in updating the info.

Dec 05, 2011: Received U.S. permanent resident status (AOS based on K-1 visa)

Dec 16, 2013: Removal of conditions on green card

Apr 28, 2015: Became a U.S. Citizen

Just disregard the phone conversation, and show up before the scheduled time with your appointment letter. The Manila call center is notoriously misinformed. You will be given a courier form to fill up at the interview, so no need to worry about changing the address.

Agree with the other responses. Although I haven't got that far yet, from what I've read when you get to the embassy, you'll fill out a form for the courier letting them know where to deliver your visa. That will probably take care of your problem.

Good luck. Keep us informed.

yeah still try to show up on that date since you have an appointment letter..thats the most important..by the way did you choose immigrant when you scheduled the appointment? as long as you can show them your interview letter.

I would agree. You have an appointment letter and unless they contacted you first for some reason, there would be not reason for you to not think that there is any change.

Agree completely with other posters. I had several problems scheduling my interview, and I know that sometimes the embassy system is not up-to-date. For instance, when they receive your case, they may have the case but not have it listed in their system. As long as you have proof on paper with a UID number and date, there is no reason for you to question the interview date. You never would have known it wasn't in the system if you haven't called, and most people wouldn't call since they already had the interview letter, so they would have no reason to turn you away either since you have proof.

The system is not always reliable for the updates, but for sure yours will appear in the system soon, and I think what important to the embassy is the print out plus the UID No.

As long as you click the right one which is the immigrant then k1 , you will be fine, not everyone who have their print out calls for confirmation and yet they go to their appointment day and time...

Everythings gonna be fine do not worry,God bless
