Hello everyone,

I am trying to find out information about CO interview on job issue. Does Consulate ask for job quitting proof? I read many CO interviews here but not finding it. Did anyone heard or experience such type of questions asked by consulate? Does NVC needs proof of job being quit?

Please shed some light here. Thanks

No they don't require such proof- if anything it would be the opposite, as you should never make concrete plans to move until you have the visa in hand; that would include not quitting your job if you have one, as you may be put in AP even after the interview and be stuck in your country for months yet.

In my case, at the interview I was asked what I was working at, and told them my job title (though they would have already known from my bio sheet anyway). They also asked what I intended working as in the USA, to which the answer was housewife, as our plan was for me not to work and look after the kids. No other job related questions were asked.

Thanks. I will tell my spouse not to quit.
