i was curious if anyone would share their experience with your spouse being in the u.s military. My husband is in the military the coast guard to be exact so he works for homeland security we have a 6 month old son and have waiting over 3 months now after getting our NOA1. i was just wondering about others experiences because of our son and our crappy living situation. i'm staying with dad and he's always stressing me out saying that my husband isn't looking after us properly that he should be doing more ect.

Military life is not easy! Its not glorious and rich like people make it seem.

I feel its harder than most "normal" marriages.

My husband deployed right after we got married and was gone for a good portion of our first year of marriage. Then when he got back he deployed again a month later, now hes deployed again and missing our 2nd wedding anniversary that is coming up. I'm spending my second 4th of July alone again too.

That said, him being military wont speed up the process unless hes deploying to a combat zone and they grant an expedite, Iv even seen some not granted even with combat deployment to bad areas!

Your I-129f was approved in 5 days from your NOA1 date.

Your interview took 67 days from your I-129F NOA1 date.

AOS was approved in 2 months and 8 days without interview.

ROC was approved in 3 months and 2 days without interview.

I am a Citizen of the United States of America. 04/16/13
