Amazingly enough, they tried to tell him that we had to wait 6 months from the date CSC received our application! but of course he didn't accept that answer and told them that our NOA1 from Nebraska was March 9th and that is the date they should consider.

Thanks Mike for giving them the data...that is what they need...in black and white...and thanks Gary for patiently making that list...now the voice of the "critical mass" is in their hands and is being heard..and we are confident that the congressional inquiry will generate a positive response and will be advantageous to all of us. Here's praying for a pleasant visa journey to all of us...God bless everyone!

Mike,

I wish you the best of lucks!!!! I really admire your persistence and positive attitude :)

Please let us know how it goes today, I really need to hear good news, specially from you and Icey who are in USCIS limbo with us since March without RFE or anything to give us hope of approval :(

Just so you know, my fiance called yesterday the customer service line, and after trying to give him the canned response - he told them that we've been waiting for over 6 months already- they agreed to put an inquiry in our case, but they said it would take 30 DAYS to get an answer :(

Amazingly enough, they tried to tell him that we had to wait 6 months from the date CSC received our application! but of course he didn't accept that answer and told them that our NOA1 from Nebraska was March 9th and that is the date they should consider.

AFTER posting these statistics on Sunday, I saw something interesting. During the month June everything came to a screeching halt. The wheels of the system just stopped. This was the bottom of the barrel so-to-speak. Then note the numbers again began to climb again in July and again in August.......my estimate is that September will also climb..........so it seemed to me that any phone call to the customer service center or to the Service Center or to a Congressman would not be helpful during this month of June since the engine was completely stopped. And since finding out about the 4 job openings for all the directors at all 4 Service Centers, it just seemed to me that now was the time to go to my Congressman.

The aid, who by the way, just sat and stared at me during my emotional story of how Ekaterina and I met......(I have a talent for quickly getting a woman's attention using a "love-story-tone to my problem- she sat there listening to every word I was saying).....after I finished she told me that she was touched at how we met and that she would do anything in her power to help us!!!!!!!!!!!! I so wanted to hear this- I read many posts where aids were simply rude and uncaring to other members who attempted to do the same thing.........So anyway.......now that the engine seems to be cranking again........now seemed like the right moment to act.

She was stunned at the copy of the USCIS website that had the processing date of March 8th......and then to see Gary's list of all the April, May, June and July approvals. She instantly made copies of everything I gave her.

Another thing she was happy to see was that I had proof ( email rejections, notes from Customer Service agents, proof of certified letters to The Director....and on and on........she told me that all this was good for my case. She even made copies of my "rejection notice" after I tried to send to the CSC an amended application..........she was especially stunned at the cover letter which clearly stated that this applications was an amendment to an existing application and my receipt number and receipt date were in bold red lettering!!!!!!!

Anyway.......Today after I gave to her my detailed, professional letter for the Congressman, she smiled at me and simply told me "this is perfect Mike"......"I will start working on this immediately."

Another thing that the below statistics proved accurate........most approvals come on Mondays..........and yesterday's posts on this website proved that correct. So it the trend is correct........I predict another big round of approvals on Thursday of this week.

Also, someone posted a question of how many March members remain........this was also included in the "waiting the longest list".

So, I will keep everyone up to date as to what happens with my RFE and approval. I have faith that September will be the month I receive both!!!!!!!

Mike, c'mon...I remember that thread. You make it sound like you were a martyr. I remember there were quite a few people that told you it was a good idea. Some just decided it wasn't for them.

At any rate, I hope it works out for you...you seem very determined and that's a good thing. Hopefully the congressman will actually help you out. Good luck!

Hi Mrc.......and thanks for responding to my post.

The simple fact that you responded to my post is proof that I do get responses when I write something. Whether it is a positive or negative response........you still took the time to type out a response.

Martyr.......nahhhhhhhhh........determined husband who won't take no for an answer when it involves my wife......you bet your as#!!!!

I'll see you all at the finish line.
