hello everyone!

i received an e mail this afternoon from the consular section unit..and it says:"We received the documentation you submitted and referred the case to a consular officer for review. We will notify you once the review of the case is completed.

i wonder if..how long will i get my passport with visa?will it be after 5 working days?weeks?months?

i hope somebody can give me info with regards to this.

Hello Therese,

There is no way to tell how long a review will last. I hope that it is short for you though. If I were you, I would periodically check with the embassy. You can also call DOS and ask for a status update.

After out interview they told my wife the time period it would take to review it. 3-4 weeks. Called Friday and they had the result in 3 weeks and we're waiting for the letter. They wouldn't tell us the outcome over the phone......:crying: so now we wait the 4th of July weekend......wish us luck as I wish you a speedy visa approval!!
