cheap flights to London gatwick?

I am trying to get a cheap flight to London in late March and then from there I am going to Morocco. Does anyone have any reccomendations as to an airline or site I should use to find a flight to London for under 700 dollars? I know there are tons of cheap flights from LA to London but I can't seem to find any. Any help is much appreciated. Thanks.

You can also check out specific airlines websites- continental airlines, northwest airlines

Virgin and BA have sales on at the moment (I just paid £460 for 2 flights to JFK for mid march), I always deal direct with the airlines as they seem to always have a sale on

as they try to compete with eachother

Ditto on the 'dealing direct with the airlines'. I always find good rates on American's website. We use Heathrow but they also fly to Gatwick.

American Airlines has special late fares. I got an email yesterday. You have to fly at the beginning of March though. I got a fare of $365 (including tax) for a departure on 3rd March and return 8th March. It was to LHR and not LGW.

I have flown to Dublin several times over the past year & I have found that ORBITZ has the best prices.

I usually have layovers in Gatwick................check out their site. I believe you can do a search on travel zoo & they will do the comparison shopping for you.

Or you can go to hotwire or priceline and name your own price. Be sure to check out what the prices are on their websites and the other travel websites to determine what would be a good first price to bid at.
