Travel insurance FROM Egypt??

We have a good friend in Egypt who is coming to visit us in the USA for 3 weeks in September.

I'd hate for him to fall ill here in the US without any kind of travel health insurance.

Does anybody know a company who will provide travel insurance for an Egyptian? Haven't found anything useful online!

check out Visitor USA - health care. I'm gonna apply with them for the first 4 months after I enter with the K1 visa. It's only opened to temporary visitors and New immigrants up to 1 year of coverage. Mind that It doesn't include dental emergencies though

You can also call an insurance broker and they can help you. We got my husband travellers insurance for first six months. Got it mainly for emergency sickness or hospitalization with a deductible around $2500 and it was less than $100/month. Good luck.

I would get your friend to look at this page: http://www.flightshotelstours.com/travel-insurance/insurance-companies/egypt/ It gives links to some of the major Egyptian insurance companies, who apparently provide travel insurance. (That's why I linked to this particular page, because it explicitly states that they do offer it. I can't actually verify that for you as I'm an English-speaker and the insurance company websites don't provide much English, obviously :B ) But I would assume that those major Egyptian insurance companies do indeed offer travel insurance.
