For a K-1 petition, didn't she have to write a letter saying she was eligible and willing to marry? Nice job trying to defraud the U.S. Gov't, and making things that much slower and more difficult for the rest of us.

Generally yes but petitions do get approved without letters of intent and even without G325a forms signed by the foreigner. However, visas don't get denied without signed visa applications and marital status is disclosed on the visa applications, signed by the foreigner.

Facts are cheap...knowing how to use them is precious...

Sounds like these "marriages" are for the sole purpose of going to America... so sad, and in the end you get what you deserve headbonk.gif, as one of my fellow VJers said... ENJOY MOROCCO... you got what you deserved! tongue_ss.gif

And I was giving them the benefit of the doubt because of the language barrier, thought they might have worded things wrong......

This is what makes people with legitimate relationships get scrutinized so much in Casablanca...................

I feel sorry for the girl because it was the person filing for her who was probably trying to save a little money

WORD TO THE WISE

Don't screw with the consulates or with USCIS stateside. They are getting really wise to a heck of alot of stuff and they themselves ( the consulates) will dow what they have to do to not only protect our borders but naive Americans getting suckered into the bad deal of a lifetime.

I just feel sorry for the girl. That jack leg back in the US who ruined this poor girls life should get it full monty. He will just go ahead and marry someone stateside and she will be lucky if she gets any help from him in the future

OH WHAT A WICKED WEB WE WEAVE WHEN FIRST WE PRACTICE TO DECEIVE

“...Isn't it splendid to think of all the things there are to find out about? It just makes me feel glad to be alive--it's such an interesting world. It wouldn't be half so interesting if we knew all about everything, would it? There'd be no scope for imagination then, would there?”
