Emergency A.P!!!

So I am in need of an emergency AP due to my husbands family illness (grandmother). I already applied for the I-131 and expedited the case but did not receive anything yet... I talked to the immigration officer from USCIS and he said I CANNOT get an emergency advance parole, he was not making sense as to why..... he just said I would have to wait for the travel document in the mail. PLEASE anyone with any information as to what I can do next, i already mailed a letter from her doctor saying her medical condition...

anyone who did apply for an emergency advance parole at the immigration office and got denied????

Did you make an Infopass appointment and speak to someone, or call the 1-800 number (in which case you may have just been speaking to a call center rep? If you didn't already, you need to make an InfoPass appointment ASAP and see if you can get approved. If you did, and it was at that point that you were told you can't get emergency AP, then there isn't much you can do. It is at the discretion of USCIS if they want to grant emergency advanced parole or not, and they may consider an in-laws illness not to be reason enough.

Emergency AP seems to be granted at an InfoPass appointment, usually can get it immediately after the BIOMETRICS portion has been done.
