Walls and fences are stupid. Moon lasers and T-Rexes are the way forward.

Seriously... you don't need a physical wall, you need a financial one. If it isn't profitable to hire an illegal immigrant, or to be one, they won't come.

If they couldn't get Section 8 housing, food stamps, welfare, etc. through and for their anchor kids and their illegal kids they snuck over they wouldn't come either. Let's make a list of all the incentives the jerk offs in Washington offer illegals to "come" and get rid of them. Go ask your hero Obama to make it his priority for a "CHANGE". We can only "HOPE".

"Credibility in immigration policy can be summed up in one sentence: Those who should get in, get in; those who should be kept out, are kept out; and those who should not be here will be required to leave."

"...for the system to be credible, people actually have to be deported at the end of the process."

He isn't my hero, Peejay.

Reading this and the preceding post of yours, do you not think you come across as a little mentally unhinged?

A little angry there?

A lot of us are angry. Apparently the libs in this country don't have a clue as to what the word broke means. This country is broke, and we can't afford to keep attracting illegal aliens in this country. Cut off the anchor baby's, put into use "e-verify", start deporting en mass, while prosecuting illegals and those who hire them.

Not all of us are blind to the national deficit and unemployment figures.

"I want to take this opportunity to mention how thankful I am for an Obama re-election. The choice was clear. We cannot live in a country that treats homosexuals and women as second class citizens. Homosexuals deserve all of the rights and benefits of marriage that heterosexuals receive. Women deserve to be treated with respect and their salaries should not depend on their gender, but their quality of work. I am also thankful that the great, progressive state of California once again voted for the correct President. America is moving forward, and the direction is a positive one."

Curbing illegal immigration hasn't been a priority in Washington for decades. There seems little reason why it would change.

All that can be accomplished without the accompanying anger management issues- while things are done realistically.

Only to the delusionally inclined. So....

Agreed. But the buck has to stop somewhere, and as bad as this country is doing financially it's time for change. Starting with illegal immigration.

Spare me the "anger management #######" please. Iv'e seen you use that same spiel in other threads with other posters.

But only you and Fishdude live in the "real" world. Yikes!

But it isn't happening. And Obama will be re-elected - that's not a wish, BTW - but a fact if there is no credible opposition in 2012.

But only you and Fishdude live in the "real" world. Yikes!

You should go ask your hero, Sheriff Joe, what he thinks. Maybe he has a big pink hat you can wear.

Which doesn't preclude the assessment as incorrect, Mr Champagne in the back seat.

Perhaps we do, as we both note that illegal immigration should be a problem that is addressed- at least in my case perhaps reading {Real} my written posts would help you out a bit.

Sheriff Joe is my hero. But I don't wear pink. Seems kind of gay and effeminate to me. Good guys wear white hats. Yup! That's the ticket for me pardner. White hats only.

Maybe Obama will give you a pink hat? ;)

I would like to see something like the Berlin Wall there myself

The Berlin Wall? What are you? A inhumane communist? Landmines? Dogs? Automatic guns? Is that your idea of how a free, life respecting country presents itself to the world? Erich Honecker would have loved you dearly. You might have qualified as smootch material for him, too.
