Ok so this morning my fiancee called to NVC and got our case number they sent our application to mexico today BUT the case number they gave us starts with CDJxxxxxxxxxx insnt this for ciudad juarez??????? i live in mexico city plz tell me i dont have to go to ciudad juarez for my interview

Looking at the website for the US Embassy in Mexico City it appears that they don't do K1 visas. So yes, you're going to have to go to Cuidad Juarez for your interview.

Mexico city is for F4 and adoptions. It's not unusual that only one consulate in the country handles immigration visas.

as another mexico filer we were REALLY annoyed when we found out that we had to go to Ciudad Juarez too... we live near Cancun!! But yes sadly CJ is the only place in Mexico that processes K1 visas

I am very sorry to tell you that, yes, we all need to go thru Juarez...does not matter where you live in Mexico.

We are going thru next week with 2 children & I have a reservation at La Quinta hotel in Juarez.

Don't worry too much, if you have any questions I will try to answer them for you when I get back into the country. I am a friend of future bride & groom & I am going to escourt the fiancee & kids thru Juarez (I am a gringa & have done a lot of research on Juarez)

Don't worry...I have lots of friends who have gone thru this point of entry.

i worry because my fiancee wont be able to go with me or anybody else :/ we gonna have to spend more money i already gonna pay the medical and passport and the visa fee... i dont have a a job i do get money once a month and my fiance dont make much hes a E-2 in the u.s.a army so yea kind of sad i didnt know mexico city didnt do they interview for the K-1

yea im worry about that too because ciudad juarez its not that safe and i told my fiance that and got mad me bacase he thinks i dont wanna get my visa to be with him :/

ASC IS ANOTHER STEP U GOTTA DO NOW BEFORE THE INTERVIEW, USUALLY THE DAY BEFORE. WHEN U SCHEDULE YOUR INTERVIEW YOULL BE ABLE TO SCHEDULE THE ASC APPOINTMENT. THERE IS NO EXTRA FEE. WHAT I DID WAS SCHEDULE MY ASC APPOINTMENT ON A TUESDAY SO SHE CAN DO HER MEDICAL EXAM ON MONDAY AND FINALLY THE CONSULATE INTERVIEW ON WEDNESDAY
