i got the same message when i checked my status online. I saw one previous post here that an applicant received such kind of notification as well & scheduled for interview not too long after that ( i guess its within the frame of 14 days)..

It seems this is such a quick process compared to previous applications i did (from K1 visa application to Green Card)

Anyway, Im just little puzzled with my biometrics/fingerprint.. I havent receive any letter for such schedule nor online update. Its more than 2 years since my last biometrics/FP with that greencard.. I know biometrics usually skip in this N400 application when an applicant just recently had him/hers (like less than a year)...

i hope i sound clear here.. just puzzled with my case..

I'm hoping that this matter has something to do with the deployment letter (of my husband) attached when i sent my packet.

I don't know what to say about your Fingerprints and If it's been 2 years it's either because there is something to do with your husband or because of their mistake which you will find out at the time of the interview I suppose...or you may get one even before that who knows...

I just read a couple of threads and No, you have to wait for another text message/email saying that YOU ARE SCHEDULED and you will receive the ILetter within 14 days:

Your N400, APPLICATION FOR NATURALIZATION is now scheduled for interview. You will receive a written notice with a time and place for your interview. You should receive this notice within 14 days. If you do not receive this notice within 14 days from July 1, 2011, please call customer service at 1-800-375-5283 for further assistance. If you move, please use our Change of Address online tool to update your case with your new address.

Right now we are in line to be scheduled but not yet. According to the post I read it should be sent in 3-4 weeks or may be earlier but every state and DO is busy differently. One of my friends got naturalized in 2 months...

Just out of curiosity - are you receiving these because you signed up on uscis.gov online case tracking or is it to do with the G-1145? Since AOS and ROC did not have such "luxuries", I am baffled by

You can register on uscis.gov and they will send you emails telling you where they are in the process. We got an email saying they had mailed a biometrics notice so I knew it would be coming soon!

I got my application back today in the mail. It states that I need to wait until 11/08/11 to file my N-400. My wife's first green card says resident since 01/08/08 (the one with the 2 year conditions). Her second green card says resident since 11/08/08. I think someone fat fingered her resident since on the second green card and caused the petition to be returned. Does this sound plausible? I'll call the military helpline on Monday and ask if they can verify this, if so I wonder if they will process my application now, or go with the fat fingered version and make me wait. Probably the wait scenario since anything else would be them admitting to a mistake

Whoa, so both cards have a different date?? That sucks. Is the correct date the 1-8-08? If so, I imagine they would correct the mistake and continue processing the application. Did they cash your check or send it back to you? I hope they figure it out quickly for you!

I think you should have made a copy of the conditional green card and a copy of the 10-year one circling the mistake, the two different dates when you know how USCIS is. Just show them facts, don't let them assume...

I didn't even notice the mistake until I started comparing the dates on the letter that they sent me to both of the green cards. I do have her original 2 year condition green card and her current one. The USCIS guy I talked to on Friday said that they have everything that we ever submit digitally in their system and also a hard copy. Hopefully they can just look it up for themselves and ask me to resubmit the application when I call them on Monday.

NOTE: Military spouse applications - - - The USCIS guy told me that since we send it to the Nebraska service center first, that he perfers that PART 2 box D be checked for us. He said to write in the explanation box "Military Spouse married permanent resident for three years"

Hi Guys,

I received an email stating "On July 12, 2011, your N400, APPLICATION FOR NATURALIZATION was placed in line for interview scheduling. When scheduling is complete, you will receive a written notice with a time and place for your interview." Wondering how long will it take for the interview letter from this point on for NYC DO?

N-400 based on 3 year marriage to a US Citizen:-

DO: New York City

November 2007 - Got I-751 approved & received 10 year Green Card.

June 14, 2011 - Mailed N-400 package by USPS Express mail to Lewisville, TX

June 15, 2011 - N-400 package received by USCIS lockbox at Lewisville, TX

June 15, 2011 - Priority Date

June 17, 2011 - Check cashed.

June 20, 2011 - EMAIL NOTIFICATION, Will recv Receipt Notice (Form I-797) in 7-10 day

June 23, 2011 - Received I797c NOA in mail.

June 23, 2011 - Received Biometrics mailed text/email

June 27, 2011 - Received Biometrics notice in mail (Appt date: 07/15

July 08, 2011 - Walk-In Biometrics done.

July 12, 2011 - Received email stating "Placed in line for interview scheduling."

Sept 12, 2011 - Received text/email stating "Your N400, APPLICATION FOR NATURALIZATION is now scheduled for interview."

Sept 15, 2011 - Received Intervew letter in mail.

Oct 19, 2011 - Interview at 26, Federal Plaza, New York City. PASSED.

Nov 18, 2011 - Oath ceremony.
