Congrats! How was the interview?

It was shocking how fast it was. When my wife walked out with our attorney, I honestly thought something had gone wrong. We arrived early and they called a few people who arrived after us before us (no big deal). Each of their interviews seemed to last about 20~30 minutes. When my wife was finally called, it must have been something like 10 minutes. The AO was very nice and friendly. No problems at all.

My husband had his interview yesterday and everything went well -- now just waiting on his oath letter. It went really quickly, he said. They called him back to the room approx 30 mins late but the interview and test only took 10-15 mins.

My interview is tomorrow in the afternoon. I have been studying the book, listening to the cd, but I am freaking out because I keep forgetting names such as the chief of justice, the name of the speaker of the house, and so on. I'll let you guys know when I am done how my interview was, : )

You have 10 questions and you need to answer 6 correct. If they do ask a question about a name and you cannot remember it - they will move on and ask other questions....

I wouldn't worry a bit! You will definitely do well!

So, today I had my interview. I arrived at the office 25 minutes earlier. It was a mistake because the IO called my name an hour and a half after I arrived there. She asked me to raise my hands and promise to say the truth. Then she went over my application with me. She asked me for my marriage certificate, my daughters birth certificate and proof that my husband and I live together. I told her I didn't have any of that. I only had what the yellow letter asked me to bring. Then she asked me to read a sentence, then to write a sentence, and after that she asked me the US history questions. I don't remember all, but I'm going to write the ones I do:

1- What is the national anthem?

2-Which ocean is in the West Coast?

3-What is the rule of the law?

4-What happened on 9/11?

It was easy! I was stressing out a little bit because I didn't really know what to expect and I was afraid I was going to forget the answers for the civics. Thank God, everything went well, and now I'm just waiting for my oath.
