I didn't want to post "congrats" until there were more good news because our thread has 28 pages already. For goodness sake, we didn't even get started with the interviews !!

Anyway...You won't be hearing from me for a week! We are going on vacation and my husband decided to "teach me a lesson on survival without a lit screen"

Received our interview letter yesterday, 8/11! Interview is 9/13 in San Francisco. Can someone update my timeline for me?!

We are still waiting for that e-mail that says "interview scheduled"... We got e-mail stating "you are placed in line for scheduling" after 2 days of biometrics..July 8th..Till now nothing.....I think Chicago office is very busy....

its has been almost 3 weeks since we've received text and email that we have been placed in line for interview scheduling. hoping that we'll all have good news this week! good luck to all of us!

I think this step sometimes takes time...

I ran some analysis on the Houston office and my results came up with the following estimates:

I estimated to receive an email for interview around Sept 7th

I estimated my interview to be scheduled around October 14.

since I estimated these dates, I am not going to be concerned with the wait....

its has been almost 3 weeks since we've received text and email that we have been placed in line for interview scheduling. hoping that we'll all have good news this week! good luck to all of us!

Ok folks, so my excitement of getting my interview letter has changed to disappointment. I received two letters from USCIS today with the same notice date. One says your asked to appear for your interview at the time and place above YAY!!!! The second one says, due to unforseen cirumstances we have had to cancel your interview BOO!! So now the waiting game begins again, as now there is no way to track online when they resend it out. Who sends out an interview notice and cancellation notice on the same day? Just don't send it in the first place, lol! Gotta love USCIS!

Not the first time I hear about cancellation letters. However, I would still call and find out additional information (if possible)...

I am writing this in the hopes it makes you feel better.

A few members shared their experience which was worse than yours...

They actually went to their interview and found out that it was cancelled/rescheduled but they (USCIS) did not send it out in time for them (applicants) to receive it... and sure enough a few days later they did receive the cancellation letter.

I am pretty sure you will receive another letter soon with a new appointment...
