Did they give you the interview date in the email or is the date only in the letter?

I would like to know this, too.

I live in WV and they can send me anywhere from Baltimore Field Office (where i had the FP), to Pittsburgh Sub-Office (where they send people for an INFOPASS), or Charleston Field Office.

When this email will reach my inbox i will go crazy again (the same way i did when i got the FP update), if they don't tell us when and where and i have to wait for 2 weeks.

:help: Does any of you know where they send you if you live to far away from your actual field office?

Just out of curiosity - are you receiving these because you signed up on uscis.gov online case tracking or is it to do with the G-1145? Since AOS and ROC did not have such "luxuries", I am baffled by

You can register on uscis.gov and they will send you emails telling you where they are in the process. We got an email saying they had mailed a biometrics notice so I knew it would be coming soon!

No - usually it is a standard email stating that you are placed in line for (interview/oath/etc...) but the letter you receive in the mail will contain the actual details of your appointment.

I would like to know this, too.

No - usually it is a standard email stating that you are placed in line for (interview/oath/etc...) but the letter you receive in the mail will contain the actual details of your appointment.

Here is a message someone posted in a different thread. Expect to receive a similar one with different dates...

" Your N400, APPLICATION FOR NATURALIZATION is now scheduled for interview. You will receive a written notice with a time and place for your interview. You should receive this notice within 14 days. If you do not receive this notice within 14 days from July 27, 2011"

So it seems like you do receive 2 emails

In this thread, people were posting a message containing different text and going back to April and May threads, it looks like people are receiving a second message...

Your N400, APPLICATION FOR NATURALIZATION is now scheduled for interview. You will receive a written notice with a time and place for your interview. You should receive this notice within 14 days. If you do not receive this notice within 14 days from July 27, 2011, please call customer service at 1-800-375-5283 for further assistance. If you move, please use our Change of Address online tool to update your case with your new address.

Don't worry too much.... I still haven't receive the biometrics email nor letter... wacko.gif

Seems like their online system is pretty good about notifying us with progress... so at least we can be at ease that their letter did not get lost in the mail while we are twiddling our thumbs...
