It will come soon!!! Maybe your office is busy or something! Your check was cashed a week after mine and I got the biometrics notice on 7/15, so I imagine yours would be any day now!

I am starting to feel left out.... crying.gif

Just out of curiosity - are you receiving these because you signed up on uscis.gov online case tracking or is it to do with the G-1145? Since AOS and ROC did not have such "luxuries", I am baffled by

You can register on uscis.gov and they will send you emails telling you where they are in the process. We got an email saying they had mailed a biometrics notice so I knew it would be coming soon!

Actually - I am in a playful mood and not too serious...

I checked the Houston office and it seems like they send FP letters about a month after filing... so I am still within their timeline...

Did you call them?

I have no idea why i'm asking because they won't help anyway. I think, the best thing to do is to wait the 30 days and then give them a call, "play dummy" and ask them if they sent you anything that got lost in the mail because you had some issues in the past with mail that didn't reach you.

Don't expect them to give you straight info, because they either don't want to share what they can see on the computer screen or they really don't have access to more than what we all can see on the site.

To make you laugh...I just hate when you call them with a question about one of their "forms" and all they do is read the same darn thing for you. This spring i was a smarty with one of them because she got smart with me about "things i needed as evidence". She started reading the form from the top. When i asked her to stop because all that info was already clear for me, she yelled and told me to let her finish! She was talking and i was reading off my computer screen when she missed a line :D. As mad as i was i asked her to stop and put a supervisor on the phone since she couldn't even read the words in front of her. She cleaned up her act in a sec. and she actually gave me an answer that made sense but didn't help with my problem...

P.S. My "updates" are not on the list anymore... Can you please add them again when you have the time?

I attached a letter to the front of the returned petition explaining the "clerical" error and copies of both of her greencards showing the different dates and they accepted it. So I guess shes at least on the way to citizenship, even if it is only a few weeks early from the wrong date on her greencard. - Viperspike

I attached a letter to the front of the returned petition explaining the "clerical" error and copies of both of her greencards showing the different dates and they accepted it. So I guess shes at least on the way to citizenship, even if it is only a few weeks early from the wrong date on her greencard. - Viperspike

I have no idea why i'm asking because they won't help anyway. I think, the best thing to do is to wait the 30 days and then give them a call, "play dummy" and ask them if they sent you anything that got lost in the mail because you had some issues in the past with mail that didn't reach you.

Don't expect them to give you straight info, because they either don't want to share what they can see on the computer screen or they really don't have access to more than what we all can see on the site.

To make you laugh...I just hate when you call them with a question about one of their "forms" and all they do is read the same darn thing for you. This spring i was a smarty with one of them because she got smart with me about "things i needed as evidence". She started reading the form from the top. When i asked her to stop because all that info was already clear for me, she yelled and told me to let her finish! She was talking and i was reading off my computer screen when she missed a line :D. As mad as i was i asked her to stop and put a supervisor on the phone since she couldn't even read the words in front of her. She cleaned up her act in a sec. and she actually gave me an answer that made sense but didn't help with my problem...

P.S. My "updates" are not on the list anymore... Can you please add them again when you have the time?

Hopefully you'll get word on your biometrics soon. :)

Did you hear anything V333K?

No - thanks for checking. I called them 20 minutes ago, however, and it is funny the way they deal with these things. My priority date is June 30 but the Notice Date is July 5th and they asked me to wait 30 days from the Notice Date and then I could call and place a service request.

I tried to understand why they go by the Notice date and not the priority date but their explanation was fabricated and inconclusive. What is the priority date if they don't even use it? Oh well!

I will wait until August 5th and call them again.

The only good thing about the call today is I didn't have to wait a long time before I spoke to a person...

I don't remember which thread I read this, but they do "teach" people patience...

Could our timeline be updated?

We got our interview letter today July 25th and our interview is Aug 29th.

How strange, you think they would be able to tell you SOMETHING. I have heard about people calling before and then the next day, they get the notice so hopefully that happens with you!
