Don't feel alone. We are on the third day of the test today. Plus she told me there was about 200 people there for the test when she arrived the first day.... :wow: . Just hang in there and it will be over soon.

Good luck on the wait. Looks like it's a pretty big club.

Has your fiancee been tested for TB?

I think it's just the same thing that happens to so many others in the Philippines. They just see something on the x-ray and decide to do the test. Can't really do anything about it except wait for two more months. I'm not too worried since she's never, ever sick but it's just another delay in this loooooooooooooong process.

Sorry you have to go through it. We just went through the 8 week wait too. Although everything points to neg on her results, the smear, her son negative, etc..but "something" on the x-ray....

Time will continue and y'all will get through it. After that..everything is a whirlwind :) And not enough time :)

Results for us were known May 17th and she arrived her yesterday :D

A little advice...towards the end of the sputum test wait...I would go ahead and schedule an interview, so that you can do it as soon as possible after the results. If it's negative for TB, then you're good to go. If it is pos (hoping not) then oh well, they just cancel the interview..I guess.

Good luck!

Thanks for the advice. I had heard that St. Luke's would reschedule the interview, but if I can go ahead and do it earlier, I'm all for that.
