My husband went for his second interview today. Last time they told him he didn't have proof of my daughter and I time in Ghana, tax transcripts, and the new birth certificate. He had everything today, although he did have the documents we were there. Anyways. So he was scheduled for 1:00pm. He got there and he had to hand the Ghanaian all his information. He proceeded to give back the 08/09 tax transcripts for me and told Kwame they only need 2010. This time Kwame said no, the consular told me I need all of them so please keep it and if they tell me I don't need it then I will take it back, the Ghanaian listened. After that he went to sit down and waited until 5:10pm or so. After that they called him up, asked him for his passport. He told him that because it was so long since he had to leave the country within 3 weeks otherwise he would have to start over...not quite sure at which point, but that doesn't matter. He is supposed to go back at 7am on Friday the 17th to get it.

We are looking at him flying out of Ghana on the 24th. I live in Nebraska so flights are really hard to do and super expensive. I am looking at Emirates and then a domestic flight. When I fly out of Ghana I usually just price them myself by going to the airline offices myself.

I wanted to know if anyone one of your sigo has ever used a travel agent or do they also just go and check the airlines themselves?

This has been a long wait and I understand everyone’s pain. The only advice I have is just wait it out. We have all been there. Just try and be positive as much as possible.
